Today we pray for our missions partners, Brent and Shelley who are based in Australia and work  to transmit shortwave and radio gospel broadcasts to  listeners in the Asia Pacific region. They are sent by SonSet solutions Canada to serve with Reach Beyond in Australia.

Here are prayer points they have shared with us to join them in prayer for:
  • Pray especially for new initiatives in the Matu, Rohingya and Japanese languages, as we, with our program partners, expand the ways that program and other media content reach people.
  • Pray for our co-workers and volunteers in Australia who continue to take care of radio broadcasts in our absence. We also thank God for Kane, our new Grounds and Maintenance Coordinator who began work in Kununurra in late July.
  • Pray for our co-workers and volunteers in Melbourne who have to move to a new building at the end of November and are working on plans and renovations to prepare the new office and studio spaces.
  • Pray for the transition to a new CEO for Reach Beyond Australia starting in October.
  • Thank God for Malcolm's ongoing rehab to deal with MS, as well as a good response without side effects to the new treatment begun in August.
  • Pray for Shelley as her visit to the Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne was postponed from August 12 to September 30 when we are back in Melbourne for a few days. She’s had some increase in IIH symptoms over the past few months, so it would be good to get checked.
  • Thank God for all of the great visits we've had with family and friends in Melbourne and in Canada on this Home Ministry Assignment.
