In the wake of this year's National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, and the biblical imperative to be a people of reconciliation, we want to embrace the coming season to engage the Calls to Action issued by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, and will be using a resource created by the Alliance Church of Canada called, "Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action - Learning and Prayer Guide".
Each week, we will share a post and links to help us better understand "the impact of residential schools on Aboriginal Peoples in Canada, and to offer the opportunity for intentional prayer as you are guided through the TRC’s Calls to Action and additional relevant information and resources."
May God use this to deepen our understanding, expand our hearts, and lead us in seeking God's justice and mercy in our communities and country.
