Brent & Shelley Weeks

Today we pray for Brent and Shelley Weeks who serve with Reach Beyond in Australia to transmit shortwave and radio broadcasts to tell listeners in the Asia Pacific region about Jesus. Brent and Shelley live in Melbourne, Australia and are sent by SonSet Solutions Canada.

Brent and Shelley were with us a few weeks ago while in Canada following the passing of Shelley's father. Here's their update:

"Since visiting and sharing at Lambrick, we’ve spent a few days in Sioux Lookout, Ontario with Brent’s younger sister and family, followed by a week with Ian and Sheila Leaver who run the office of SonSet Solutions Canada (our sending agency) from their home.

Some praise and prayer points:

• Thank God for good health, safe travel, remembering Shelley’s father well, and good visits with family, friends and co-workers during our time in Canada.
• Pray for Brent’s Dad who has been receiving cancer treatment, and recently learned that it has advanced to Stage 4.
• Pray for a productive return to work back in Australia, along with effective follow up to our time at the SonSet Solutions Canada office.
• Keep praying for seeds of faith to be planted and grow through the shortwave radio broadcasts to Asia.
