Today we pray for one of our local missions - Camp Imadene. Camp Imadene has been providing Vancouver Island with quality Christian camping: summer camps and off-season retreat programs for more than 95 years.

We remember Camp Imadene in prayer as they actively plan for this summer after limited programming during the last two years due to Covid.

Here are some specific prayer requests from them:

  1. Staffing needs:
    • Kitchen workers
    • Volunteer weekly cabin leaders
    • Nurses
  2. Campers
    • That the good news of Jesus Christ will be preached and that many lives will be changed as a result.
    • That God will fill every bunk this summer.
      • Coming out of the Covid years, parents of younger campers are hesitant to send their children away for a full week. We still have lots of room in most of our junior and intermediate camps
  3. That our facilities will be ready to receive campers this summer
    • After 2 years of running mostly day camps with a smaller year-round staff team, lots of work still needs to be done in preparation for full operations
