Today, we pray for our project in the Sasiga Mid-Highlands in Ethiopia. We have been partnering with Food for the Hungry in Sasiga since 2005 and continue to work with community and church leaders to improve the lives and living conditions of the community members.
 
Here are some prayer items from them. 
 
We join the FH SH Sasiga Team in praying for:
  • A successful income for the current negotiations for a peace treaty between the government and the Oromo Liberation Army.
  • The guidance of God for seeking additional resources to support the most vulnerable.
  • Successful implementation of their plans for next year, including conducting a final evaluation in Sasiga and assessing and establishing a long-term partnership in the Leka Dulecha community. 
  • The safety and health of the FH Ethiopia team, especially in the Sasiga area. 

And we join them in praising God that this year, community members in Sasiga mobilized resources and fixed some homes of widows and elderly in the community who needed the support. FH is impressed with all that the communities have accomplished in taking care of one another.
