Food for the Hungry

Today our Missions Prayer is for our project in the Sasiga Mid-Highlands in Ethiopia. We have been partnering with Food for the Hungry in Sasiga since 2005 and continue to work with community and church leaders to improve the lives and living conditions of the community members.

Today we specifically pray for the communities that will be graduating from the Food for the Hungry program shortly.  We are grateful for the progress they've made to become self-sustaining. We also pray for the country of Ethiopia - for an end to the conflict and for continued peace in their region; for protection as a malaria outbreak is affecting the whole country; and for the people who are having challenges even affording essentials as the cost of living has skyrocketed.
