This week we pray for our Missions partner Mahima Homes in Kolkata, India. Mahima provides aftercare for girls and children who were rescued from being trafficked in the sex trade. Mahima helps restore and heal their broken lives and ensure they are reintegrated into society with dignity.
- We pray for the staff of Mahima, and in particular for the new director who has just begun serving with Mahima. We pray for the girls' health and that school goes well for them as they prepare for exams. A few of the girls will be taking their Grade 10 and Grade 12 exams shortly.
- We pray for the construction plan of the Smita Singh Memorial Upahaar Girls' Home. The new facility will have two separate segments – an aftercare home for minor survivors between ages 12 and 18 and a transitional home which will care for girls graduating out of the minor program and for adult survivors.
- We pray that Mahima's supporting organization will receive the extensions needed to their operational licenses.
- We pray for the expansion plan in new unreached communities and provinces in the coming financial year.
