This week we pray for our local missions partner Sanctuary Youth Centre.  Based in the Church of Our Lord in downtown Victoria, they serve as a safe place for some of the most vulnerable people in our city - street-entrenched and at-risk youth between the ages of 14 and 22.

We continue to join the Sanctuary Youth community in prayer for Bella who had been a key member of their team, but Doctors' prognosis and assessments are not giving her long to be with us on this side of eternity.  We are so thankful that Bella's spirits remain good in spite of her condition and prognosis.

We pray for Sanctuary’s staff and volunteer needs:

  • They are interviewing for a Drop In Staff Position
  • They need a few more female volunteers to make up for students who are away for the summer
  • They have hired Rowena Brown as a Permanent part-time staff
  • They have secured a Practicum student for the summer months.

WE praise God that attendance has been climbing and they are seeing many new youth more interested in outdoor activity and exercise!
