Sanctuary Youth Center

This week our missions prayer is for our local missions partner Sanctuary Youth Centre. Based in the basement of Church of Our Lord in downtown Victoria they serve as a safe place for some of the most vulnerable people in our city - street entrenched and at-risk youth between the ages of 14 and 22.

We pray for Sanctuary Youth as they continue to mourn the loss of their former colleague Bella. We particularly pray for the 30 youth who attended Bella's memorial and heard a very clear gospel message.  

Sanctuary Youth is now planning for its annual fundraiser - Ride for Refuge: which will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024. The Ride for Refuge is a family-friendly fundraising bike and walk event. We join them in praying for a successful event and that the people they need: donors, team captains, and participants will be recruited successfully.
