This week we pray for our local missions partner Sanctuary Youth Centre.  Based in the basement of Church of Our Lord in downtown Victoria, they serve as a safe place for some of the most vulnerable people in our city – street-entrenched and at-risk youth between the ages of 14 and 22.

We join Sanctuary Youth in giving thanks for the wonderful and busy Christmas season they had last month celebrating Christmas with staff, volunteers and youth; holding a fundraising Bake Sale (at Lambrick) and the Backpack Give-away 

We give thanks for a youth who has been over 100 days sober. We praise God for his continued sobriety and his interest in the faith and pray that we would see the full transformation of Jesus in his life!

We also join them in prayer for:
  • Two youth expecting their first baby together - for guidance and discernment.
  • Several youth searching for employment.
  • The fundraiser coming up in the next few weeks to celebrate 20 years of Sanctuary Youth.
