Kids Ministry Volunteers

Kids Church is a place for kids to learn about the Bible, explore their faith, connect with kids their age as well as a few trusted adults who will care for them the way the Church should. It's a place for fun, curiousity, learning, and friendship. 

And it requires volunteers to make it as impactful as possible. We are looking for a few specific volunteers to help make that happen.

Grade 4/5 Small Group Helper

• Help the leader by being an extra player in games that need even teams, an extra pair of hands to help with crafts, or a listening ear when the kids have stories to share. Helpers at the elementary age serve 2 weeks on/2 weeks off in order to better build trust and relationship with the kids.

Grade 2/3 Small Group Leader (x2)

• Plan, prepare, and lead kids through fun and silly activities to help reinforce that week's lesson.  Leaders at the elementary age serve 2 weeks on/2 weeks off in order to better build trust and relationship with the kids.

Kindergarten/Grade 1 Small Group Helper

• Help the leader by being an extra player in games that need even teams, an extra pair of hands to help with crafts, or a listening ear when the kids have stories to share. Helpers at the elementary age serve 2 weeks on/2 weeks off in order to better build trust and relationship with the kids.

Preschool Story Teller (x2)

• Share the gospel with preschoolers through sharing Bible Stories in a fun and engaging way. Leaders at the preschool age serve 1 week on/3 weeks off.

Preschool Helper (x2)

• Help the leader by playing games, making crafts, or being a listening ear when preschoolers have stories to share.  Helpers at the preschool age serve 1 week on/3 weeks off.

Set up and Clean up Helpers (x4)

• Help with things like moving tables and chairs, bringing nursery toys in and out.  Small things can add up to making a big difference in how supported everyone feels and how smoothly things run

Behind the Scenes Extraordinaire

• Help Kenzie with all those fun behind the scenes projects that help make Kids Church a fantastic experience for Kids on Sundays.
