Resources for kids · Explaining Communion

On Sunday, October 8, we will be inviting all children who have started Kindergarten or older to stay in the main service* as we will be celebrating with four people who are getting baptised.

At the end of the service, we will be sharing communion as a church family. Your children are very welcome to take communion too if they would like to. If your child is unfamiliar with what communion means, here are some great resources to help:

• For the younger ones (a fun and catchy song) 
• For the older ones (Dot and Bouncy explain communion)
• For parents of older ones that already understand communion a bit (tips from Phil Vischer to explain the tradition in more depth)

Wiggles and giggles are welcome! but we will have a few quiet toys for your little one to fidget with if that will help them focus.

* Kidcare and the baby area will be running as usual for little ones below school age.
