On November 29, we held our Annual General Meeting via Zoom.
As well as financial and society business, we heard updates from our pastoral team about what they've been working on this year, and we shared words of thanks and encouragement with one another as a church family. Looking back on 2021, it is beautiful to see how God has been at work in our community through challenging times.
You can read the brochure that accompanied our AGM here - it's a great snapshot of what has been happening through our various ministries over the last year.
Another significant moment in the AGM was the affirmation of our Board of Elders.
Chris Berghuis has come to the end of his term as an elder and as Board Chair. We also want to send our heartfelt thanks to Chris for prayerfully and faithfully guiding our Board through some significant changes, and bless him as he takes a well deserved rest!
We also welcomed Sue Priestley onto our Board of Elders. We are excited for the skills and wisdom that Sue will bring to our Board. If you don't know Sue yet, you can read more about her here: Sue's Profile
