Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some answers to our most common questions. Please see the full list of FAQs in the file above.

Lambrick is continuing a healthy and stable pattern of community and growth. Through the commitment and diligence of those before us, Lambrick owns this wonderful building, which is home for our church ministries and blesses this neighbourhood and beyond. The funds from this campaign will care for our facility by addressing 4 major projects. Our desire goes even beyond that, for this campaign to be unifying as we learn and grow in stewardship together, caring for this building and the ministries within it.

Gerry Brouwer is the Chair of the 5&2 Campaign Committee that includes staff members Katie Myers, Scott Anderson and Treace Alton as well as Bill Mollard, Natasha Martens, Sam Brouwer, Jon Barry, and Mark DeLeeuw. This committee is responsible to the Board of Elders.

We have 4 main projects named. The Project Overview Brochure explains more about them!

1) a new sound system for the main auditorium

2) new sections of roof and gutters

3) a kitchen refresh

4) safety and efficiency repairs, like sidewalks, lights+plumbing fixtures, windows

Projects will be completed as sufficient funds are received; the way the campaign is structured, some Gifts will be pledged in installments over a 3-year period, so some projects may be completed later, as funds are raised. The sound system replacement is the most urgent project, and it will be initiated immediately (as products take a few months to arrive). Some areas of the roof and gutters will also be tackled early in the timeline. We will be looking for ways to streamline projects to reduce costs and disruption, and we are committed to regular communication and progress updates.
