Aaron Braaksma

Aaron joined Lambrick in 2021 as the Youth Pastor. He and his wife, Chelsey, moved here from Calgary, Alberta. Aaron attended Ambrose University where he received a Bachelor of Ministry. For two years, he and Chelsey served as Youth Directors at a church in The Bahamas before moving back to Calgary to finish school. Eventually God called him back to island ministry and he and his wife packed their bags and moved to BC!

Aaron is a dedicated Oilers fan, loves to bike and hike, as well as read and write. He's currently working on a book that he hopes to publish one day. His wife, Chelsey, is a music therapist and apart from being very talented musically, she also enjoys the beach, hiking, and reading.

Aaron became a Christian when he was 16 after meeting Jesus at a youth conference. Since then he has felt a strong calling to shepherd and disciple young people to be instruments of grace, change, and love as they seek to know and follow Jesus.
