Wiseways Childcare Centre

This week we are praying for our very local mission which is housed in our Church building - Wiseways Childcare Centre. Based in our lower floor and the cottage next door to the church, Wiseways provides care for 3-5 year olds and their families in our community. 

Here is an update from Wiseways Director, Lisa Thomson:  

This year has started off smoothly and the children have done such a great job of settling into our program quickly. With some changes to our program and staffing over the summer, this is a big relief and shows that God has His hand over the operations of our Centre.

Praise Reports:

• We are so thankful that this year has started well, and that the children have settled in so quickly.
• We are thankful for Sarah Kim and Zoe Lin joining our team, for their passion in supporting learning development, as well as teaching children about God, and sharing His love with the families at our Centre.
• For God’s abundant blessing in our finances last year which not only supported our regular operations, the building of the Cozy Cottage cubby room, and extra maintenance projects but also provided a surplus of funds to support us in the year ahead.

Prayer requests:

• For the health and safety of the children, staff, and families as we start a new school year together and get to know one another.
• For wisdom and guidance as we look ahead to the upcoming year and make plans for our program.
• That we will find the right staff to join our team so that we can re-open the Mouse House classroom this year.
