Wiseways was established as a preschool and has operated continuously since 1953.
In 1973, it moved to its present location in Lambrick Park Church.

To meet the needs of the community, Wiseways opened a daycare program in 2008. In 2018, the daycare program expanded with the opening of the 'Cozy Cottage' - the building next door to Lambrick. From 2019, Wiseways became a full-time childcare facility, whilst still incorporating the preschool program.
