Wiseways Childcare Centre

The mission we are praying for this week is our very own Wiseways Childcare Centre. We have been serving the children of our community with pre-school and childcare services since 1953, and have been at our present location in the church basement and Cosy Cottage next door, since 1973.  Here's an update from Wiseways:

Praise Reports:

• It has been a busy year, with a lot of children needing extra support with daily routines. We have been praying for God to provide tangible solutions to this need and he is so good in providing them in his perfect timing.
• We have filled our open ECE position by hiring a new educator who started with us in the middle of January and has quickly become a wonderful addition to our team.
• We also recently received funding from Queen Alexandra's Hospital to provide additional support in one of our classrooms which will be a great help for the children, as well as the teachers.  

Prayer requests:

• For our open spaces to be filled, that the children who come to us will fit well in the classroom dynamics, and that we will be given opportunities to share God's love with them.
• For the health and safety of all of the children and teachers with a lot of illness going through the school.
• For refreshed energy for the teachers as we move into a new season.
• For wisdom and guidance as we look ahead to the upcoming school year and make plans for our program.
